Taslim joined PKF Corporate Recovery in May 2009 from Chapman’s Chartered Accountants, a mid size chartered accounting firm. His career started part time at Chapman’s in 2002 whilst still at University and commenced full time employment after graduating as a Chartered Accountant in 2005. During his time at Chapman’s, Taslim gained experience in business advisory services and as a tax administrator.
Taslim was involved in engagements of varying sizes from small family run businesses to NZ based subsidiaries of large multi-national companies. He provided business advisory services to a large number of McDonald’s franchises throughout NZ. He also had to ensure that Tax Compliance for clients were in order which involved correspondence with the IRD on a regular basis.
Taslim was admitted as a full member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants in June 2008.
Taslim has always had an interest in the insolvency and recovery industry and so decided it was time for him to learn and gain experience in this field.
Since working for PKF Corporate Recovery, Taslim has worked on a number of liquidations and receiverships and has progressed admirably.
Taslim brings to PKF Corporate Recovery a combination of strong communication and analytical skills together with an ability to relate to the different types of people and personalities encountered within the business world.
